Kate Williamson – Biography
Monday 4th May, 1964 was a grand and glorious awards day in Nassau N.P. God graced the Bahamas with a fearfully and wonderfully inscribed gift Kate Elise Jones to the parentage of Acklins Islanders Edward and Gerlean Jones. During this same time Sidney Poitier was awarded a suitably inscribed plaque in celebration of his homecoming to the Bahamas by the Premier The Hon. Roland Symonette.
As the baby girl of the Jones Family, Kate has truly been celebrated from birth to present day. Kate attended Columbus Primary School, C.H. Reeves Junior High School, R.M. Bailey Senior High School, The College of the Bahamas, Miami Dade Community College and The Institute of Self Active Education Melbourne Florida. These Institutes contributed to her highest academic accomplishment of Master Degree in Self Active Education. Most importantly Kate received salvation and a personal relationship with God in 1979.
Therefore, as a result of a relationship with God and the many academic accomplishments, Kate’s careers as an Accountant Clerk, Secretary, Book-keeper, Teacher, Principal, C.E.O. of Discovery Learning & Development Center and presently Family Island Administrator affords her the opportunity to fulfill purpose as a philanthropist throughout the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
Kate has been married to Mr. Eugene Williamson for forty-one (41) years. The couple has four children of whom Kate homeschooled. Two (2) daughters Principal Dinola Williamson and Journalist Deandre Williamson. Two (2) sons Sgt. 3424 Eugene Williamson and Business Admin. Emon Williamson. One (1) daughter-in-law Shemon Williamson. Two (2) grand-daughters Aria Williamson and Bela Davis.
The couple serves as Ministers & Missionaries at Christian Life Church Seabreeze Lane under Bishop Jay & Euphemia Simms. Kate also ministers on “Family Better Together” Zoom program every Saturday at 6:00am. Kate along with her husband has birth (10) ten Adopt-a-Grandparent Club, (2) Kabbalistic Kids Club and (2) Reading Gym throughout the Family Islands in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
As a grand and glorious gift, Kate is gifted with her hands and has a Kate’s Creation collection. Finally, Kate Elise Williamson mantras are:
